Deprecated API in use
The project uses an Angular API that is deprecated at the installed version, or that gets deprecated in a later one.
What it means
Deprecated APIs still work, but the Angular team has committed to removing them after at least two majors. Every usage is a task for a future upgrade, and the replacement usually exists already.
The finding lists each file:line where the API is used, the version that deprecated it, and its replacement when the dataset knows one. When the deprecation only starts at a later version than the installed one, the message says so: nothing is wrong today, but the next upgrade will bring it.
How to fix it
Move to the replacement named in the finding (or in the linked docs). Many deprecations have an official schematic under ng generate @angular/core:<migration>; the Modernity tab lists the ones that apply to this project.
What it looks like
As printed by diopter check; the UI and the Markdown report show the same finding with its location.
[DIOP0001] `HttpClientModule` is deprecated since v18 (src/app/app.config.ts:9).
